We developed Hydro-Chrome™ to eliminate problems of excess water on roller ends and too little water in the center associated with conventional chrome dampener rollers.

Most conventional chrome rollers have a high density of cracking on the ends and low density of cracking in the center.  This leads to non-uniform water carrying capabilities.

Hydro-Chrome™ has exactly the opposite structure.  There are no cracks on the ends of the roller and a very high-density, uniform crack structure for the rest of the roller surface.  This results in a more uniform, controllable water film thickness.

Hydro-Chrome™ is also unsurpassed in corrosion resistance.
