We have perfected the technology to manufacture an E.S.A. impression roller from a Polyurethane material. The advantage is a tough, stable, durable, and extremely abrasion resistant roller covering with the capability of conducting an electric charge for electrostatic assist in Gravure Package printing. As a result of reduced edge wear, our Polyurethane usually allows you to change from a narrow to wider web width without regrinding the roller. Polyurethane's unique properties, including high resilience, translate to a cooler running roll. It's versatile enough to be used for Electrostatic Assist or Conventional Gravure. |
